What are the effects of online learning on a foreign language? Can you share your experience?

I mean, it's harder to learn when you can't have face-to-face interactions and gauge people's body language, but it's still very possible through online classes, it just takes a bit of extra effort!

Duo lingo is good, they do events and there is a forum too.
