Why is the MyEd UofE portal so inefficient and broken?

I’ve tried again, and again, to remain calm while using this service, but every single time, there’s something that either crashes the page or «*"MyEd is currently unavailable*" so you have to refresh the page to actually use it and get rid of that message, or even worse, a page comes up when you try to open a hub saying "this page should not be called directly" which sounds like something that’s been created just to infuriate you further. I mean honestly, who makes this stuff? It’s an absolute joke. Perhaps I wouldn’t be so irritated if the university hadn’t put legally binding contracts into this service which can only be accessed by a select few people apparently. Don’t you dare tell me " oh it’s working for me fine maybe it’s your internet*" I swear to God I will figure out a way to slap you through the internet. Please can someone give a justifiable reason as to why this service is so incapable?!
