Hello, I am a Student going into S6 in Scotland which is the final year. I am getting As in 5 highers (chem, physics, maths, English and History).

I am looking to study Chemistry at university and in Scotland (for the tuition fees). Im trying to weigh up St, Andrews and Edinburgh as they are both very reputable but would like some outside opinions.

I qualify for minimum entry requirements currently due to going to an underperforming secondary so my entry requirements are AABB for St. Andrews and Edinburgh and I meet that currently.

You get 5 choices on ucas. There’s no need to pick between these two - apply to both and see what offers you receive

As I've always said, go for the one you can afford.

Yeah tbh. This is important. I’ve looked at accommodation pricing but will have to do a proper budget and stuff to look.
