Hi guys,

I was doing the school run this morning and a car coming towards me moved over so I had to swerve slightly so he didn't hit me. I was only going at a couple miles an hour and I think I clipped the car in front.

I finished the school run, went to check for damage which I couldn't see on either their or my car and then rushed home and back to get sone paper and a pen to leave a note as I had nothing in the car. Is there anything else I could have done? I have a dash cam so I have the incident recording, I'm just worried as I have only had my car for a couple of months.

Call the Police and report the incident.

Yes.

You're also contractually obliged to inform your insurance company of the incident regardless of your intention to claim. Most wouldn't, though.
