Hey
Has anyone received their CAS yet? How long do they usually take to issue CAS?

There's some information here: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/directory/visas/tier-4/cas/ (see the section "When you will get your CAS").

A month ago? That's slowww. All my other offers (top 12 unis) didn't require a deposit and I got my CAS within about 10 days of unconditional offer.
I decided to choose Bristol but after paying my deposit, I'm reading everywhere that they take really long.
UKVI rules have changed and you can apply for a visa 6months before course start date; they seem to be using the old 3 months' rules.

I don't think so. I have just confirmed myself that they are indeed VERY vague and it's baffling. Others state 7 working days, 10 days.....
On the other hand, you have been waiting a while so you may want to check that you don't have any condition outstanding and that your deposit payment actually went through.

Hey sgman have you heard back?
I did send them a quick email. They told me they’re processing thousands of CAS so it’ll take awhile, but they didn’t offer an expected timeframe. I still haven’t received the CAS to date, so I’ll probably follow up again in a weeks time.
