Hi
This comes out of the AQA A-Level textbook.
My tutor said they couldn't do it which was a bit disappointing as I am determined to see how it is possible.

It asks:
"Show how the binomial expansion can be used to work out without a calculator."

I can see links between some figures, but I can't find a way to tie them all together and solve.

(65.1*29.2+65.1*35.9-91.7-26.4+65.3*26.4)/(18.3^2-18.3*5.4)

Can you post a photo or screenshot of the question?

The question doesn't mention the binomial expansion. http://prntscr.com/16cls0d

Without that misleading instruction, it's quite straightforward.

The typo in the expression in the OP matches

The corrected version isn't too bad as you say.

:holmes: Some good detective work there - PRSOM. Was unable to locate it myself.
