Quick question guys, I'm totally new to accounting and was wondering whether or not the ICAEW ACA would give me the option of working as a management accountant? Here in the UK people who want to focus on M. Accounting usually complete the CIMA and occasionally the ACCA. I'm thinking of doing the ACA but would like the option of working in industry one day.
apologies if this is a silly question or if it's been answered before. Cheers.

Yes - I think the majority of aca qualifieds work in industry.

I’m not sure that it’s accurate to say that the majority of people interested in management accounting do Cima. It’s a great option but loads of people do ACCA or Icaew.
