Hi.
I received a letter in the post stating that my application for Open University has been cancelled, and that I should submit a 'PTMN' application.
However, to my knowledge this application is typically for applicants of part-time courses - the course I have applied for is full-time Psychology and Counselling, so I'm confused as to why my initial application was cancelled.
Additionally, when I have tried to find a PTMN application online, the only ones available are from 2020-21, not 2021-22.
It does state on the Student Finance website that part-time students cannot apply until the summer, however given the fact that I am have applied for a full-time course I am worried that I won't have my student loan sorted out before I start my course in October.
Any help regarding this would be much appreciated.

Hi, all OU applicants are classed as part time.

You can't apply as full time.

You can only apply for a Tuition Fee Loan only, no Maintenance Loan unless you have a disability.
Thanks, Isaac

Thanks Isaac. Do you know around what month of the year part-time students will be able to apply?
