I know blood clots from the AZ vaccine are rare but is it a good idea to take aspirin each day for a few days before and after your Covid vaccine to prevent any rare blood clotting?

British Heart Foundation > Could an everyday drug stop dangerous Covid complications?

"we don’t recommend that you start taking aspirin or any other antiplatelet drug for Covid-19, unless it’s on medical advice. This is because aspirin, like any drug, comes with some risks and the risks can outweigh the benefits for people who haven’t been advised to take it by their doctor."
