Driving and caught as a provisional holder

I'm ready for my test and bought my @st car and was caught driving it home wot will happe next I've paid £100 for tax and mot £50 for no driving licence and said I'd receive a letter from them about the insurance in 14 days wot will happen next as I'm due my test in a weeks time?

were you alone in the car? I know you're supposed to have a passenger with a license with you. It'll get you a fine and points on the license you don't have yet.

You might now even pass your test
I think it was a bad move tbh, you could have paid a deposit on your car and waited or asked the dealership to reserve it
And there are plenty of cars out there you needn't have bought that one!

I'm not sure what will happen next you'll just have to read the letters
