Nope! For my uni, the earliest they start issuing CAS is 3 months before term start date, which is 27th September for me! So that might be the case with your uni as well.

Also remember most universities don’t issue a CAS until your offer becomes unconditional (i.e. you’ve met all conditions).

Hope this helps! You can always get in touch with your uni to double check

Thank you! Mine starts on the 27th as well, what course are you attending?

Oh wow, from what I’ve heard UAL is extremely renowned in its field. Congratulations!! Looks like we’ll both be in London

Reviving this thread to ask if anyone going to UAL remembers when they eventually got their CAS their first year? I have a conditional offer and uploaded documents to prove my conditions are met in mid April. It's two months out from my course beginning and my portal hasn't updated to make my offer unconditional and I (like many others) are stressing about receiving their CAS. I'd love to know roughly when students received them the past few years.

Hi reviving this thread to ask - did they ask you for financial proof when applying for CAS?

Yeah I did not consider that and have to wait for 28 days now, so its going to be very last minute. Honestly I woud just call them and ask how long it will take and if there is any news or dcuments they need, its important to be pro-active.

Is there anyone here who hasn't got his CAS? How long have you been waiting for it?

Ive got mine yesterday and thy only took 3 days to process. If it takes longer than that give them a call to see if anything is giving them trouble or if they need more documents.

Hi! I haven’t either. I’ve been told that this is regular ual activities ( being really disorganized) but it’s really stressful

Haven't received CAS either. Paid deposit more than a month ago with required document but offer status hasn't changed to unconditional. 5 weeks left till the welcome week and 3 weeks is needed for visa application in my country. Haven't booked the flight and I don't think I will have time to look for accommodation before the class starts. Already made an enquiry twice but they said the document is under review. ugh..

i just got mine so they are sending them out - hopefully you get yours soon! also I don’t know where you’re from but I’ve heard a lot of people get their visas earlier than the 3 weeks time on the UKVI website:smile:

Good to hear that!! I’m from an Asian country. There’s a rapid option here but it’s for additional fee 😂 Congratulations to you and hope I get mine soon! 😅😁

I got mine 2 weeks ago but found a mistake, I called them twice about it. I hope it will arrive soon so I can apply for my visa. Im worried about the 3 weeks because right now they are really busy and im scared they gonna take even longer. Do you think its worth getting the priority just for good measures?

If you’re applying from a country that has more requirements (such as TB test, financial etc) i’d consider getting priority cause i’ve read that a lot of times they have to for example email your bank or have you resubmit evidence for some reason etc so it can take longer. Since I only needed to provide my passport info I went with standard and I just hope it goes smoothly since the risk of any complications is much lower

Our Admissions colleagues are working as quickly as possible to issue CAS statements.

Please log into your UAL Portal and check all of the following:

You have firmly accepted your offer

You have uploaded your academic offer conditions

You have uploaded an English language certificate or evidence you meet an exemption against the English language document request.

The passport you will make your visa application with

You have paid your deposit

Regularly check your UAL Portal for document requests or details of documents which have not been accepted. If applicable, you’ll see a document upload button which may also include instructions on what you need to provide.

We aim to issue your CAS within 14 working days of your offer being confirmed as Unconditional Firm in your UAL Portal.

You mustn’t make any arrangements to travel to the UK until you’ve received your CAS statement. We can’t guarantee the exact date your CAS statement will be issued.

In the meantime, you can read more about getting a CAS on our student visa guidance webpage.

Thank you for your patience. We won’t keep you waiting any longer than necessary.
