Hi Everyone! I had my OAC yesterday and I just received an email saying I passed it, and that I will be contacted shortly for the next stage! What should I expect now?? How long did you guys had to wait for the next stage??

I did my OAC on Friday and on Monday got the email saying i had been successful. And then on the same day got sent my provisional offer

I take it if you don’t hear if within a week after completing the OAC you haven’t passed?

(Original post by M_T)It's mental isn't it. We would be crazy not to wait until we have a confirmed role and start date. However when I applied for this job back in January I didn't think I would still be waiting to get a start date haha ... But makes sense that these checks have to be done properly and take time to get done. Good luck hopefully we hear soon

Congratulations. I got the email to say I’d passed my OAC on the Friday and then the provisional offer on the monday, and after I accepted it I got an email to enter all my onboarding information on the Tuesday.

Mine said that ‘Overall, your responses did not meet or fell below the expected level for the behaviour Communicating and Influencing.’ So basically I cannot tell if it’s a good thing or not, Lol!!

The feedback I got for the role play and the written exercise were both “met or exceeded the expected level” if they said you’ve been successful on the OAC regardless of the feedback then they will make you provisional offer I believe.

I currently have provisional offer for Liverpool.
I’m at the stage of “pre employment checks in progress”. What comes next and what is time frame for starting. Any longer and I definitely wont be able to start until October for various reasons. Will they accommodate this ? Worried as I read a comment saying they can only give you a start date 3 months after security checks which I appreciate . So at what point is it likely these will be done if I’m at the pre employment checks in progress stage, weeks / months ? By time these are done and security checks begin, maybe October will be within the 3 month period by then?!

I spoke to them about this today. I can’t be doing the first 9 weeks during the school summer holidays due to child care and then have a holiday abroad October half term so if it’s not a start date by may (which I highly doubt) then for me it would have to be November start date. The lady I spoke with confirmed that start date would have to be within three months of the security clearance and you can’t go through the checks again to extend it but she did say when you get to the offer stage and explain the commitments you have then they may be willing to delay your start date.

How do you know if you’ve been put onto the reserve list for the OAC? Or is that only after the OAC is completed haha?

Hi everyone. Have a provisional offer in Sheffield and just submitted all my pre-employment checks stuff. Submitted a bank statement I got printed off at the bank branch but they don't do stamps anymore as a policy so would they be ok, as long as it isn't an online copy?

Also, does anyone know how long it takes the pre-employment checks stage to complete and is it very unlikely I wouldn't get a formal offer after receiving a provisional one?

Also, what is the OAC? I did a video interview and passed that and then got a provisional offer... is the OAC another method of application which I won't have to do?

It won't work on apple. It doesn't format properly.
