Accommodation

So I’ve just had to accept a uni room accommodation offer but I’m still unsure as to whether I’m going into accommodation or not. If I decide I don’t want the room given to me, can I decline before the start date?? I’m a gap year student so my grades are already confirmed

When you accept the offer, you may be signing a contract for the accommodation so I would check that if possible.

I would recommend that you get in touch with the accommodation department of your university, they should be more than happy to help if you explain the situation.

The situation will vary across universities and accommodation sites so it is best to get in touch.
