I just received this assessment letter from Student Finance and it says:
Course Fee Amount: 9,250
Maximum loan available: 9,250
Loan requested: £0.00
Loan to be paid: £0.00
The amount you need to pay to your university: £9,250
Can someone please tell me what they mean by this? Are they paying the tuition fee to my university or do I have to pay it myself?

Hi, you have not been awarded any Tuition Fee Loan as you didn't request any.

This could be due to you completing the form wrong. You are required to put 2 contacts on the loan request page at different addresses.

Thanks, Isaac

Perfect, please allow up to 6 weeks to be re assessed.
Thanks, Isaac

Why 6 weeks? My application has already been approved and they say I’m eligible for it. They just have to change the figures from £0.00 to £9,250. Is it still going to take 6 weeks?

The exact timescale for our pre assessment department is 7 working days (about 1.5 weeks)

But I advise allowing up to 6 weeks generally as our timescales can always change and they might need to refer your account to an assessor to re assess which can take about 4 weeks at the moment.

Thanks, Isaac
