hi, I'm concerned that my GCSE grades in English will not meet the minimum criteria for entry, however, will I still be able to apply and be considered considering the mess up we've all had with covid?

What is your GCSE grade for English, exactly?

If you do not meet minimum requirements, unfortunately you will just be rejected. Everyone has been affected by COVID so unless you have specific mit circs med schools will still apply their standards. That said, the vast majority accept resits so we’d suggest resitting a grade <6.

I think you’d really need to ask your school, it’s likely to vary as well.
You can also always resit externally from your school if need be - google will have a lot more information than me!
