^ i agree, from what i know the sector is bigger than most of us think . Design based career i.e Fashion garments , Interior design , Technical textiles. Technologist i.e fibre, fabric, dye. Manufacturing i.e pattern making, fabric cutter, knitter, production supervisor, production planner. Testing i.e quality controller, materials testing. Trends and fashion i.e colourist, stylist , trend forecaster. Retail & behind the scenes retail roles i.e buyer , merchandiser , advertising and marketing , retail manager.
