Not particularly -- though what we call 'stash' is worn by loads of people. That's hoodies etc. that you get if you're part of a college/university sports team etc.
Congrats to everyone else who has too, can't wait to meet you all there.
I'm taking a year in industry gap year before i start engineering next year. My placement ended up being in cambridge too tho so I've got a house sorted for me and two others in north cam. Means the next five years of my life are gonna be in Cambridge :-o
I'm planning on trying to get involved with student life in the town as much as possible so I'll probably end up sneaking into Queens' bar and stuff. I'll want to hit up any decent local gigs too.
Adam, you seem to have a really good taste in music. I might start pestering you whilst you're there to see if you'll want to join me to see some bands.

Pester away mate. I was considering doing the same myself having looked at some of the gigs at the Cambridge Junction once we are there.
Hi, I'd just like to say that information for Queens' freshers (including the freshers week timetable) is up at http://www.qjcr.org.uk/page/freshers . You should also recieve the "Rough Guide" at some point (though it's not actually printed yet!).
If you have any questions, direct them to me or one of the other members - http://www.qjcr.org.uk/committee (though I'm not sure if I'd be much use as for what stuff you need to do before you arrive, my memory is too bad!)
In addition, I think you've already all chosen rooms so this is probably too late, but you can view a list of rooms and student reviews at http://www.qjcr.org.uk/rooms/
