Long shot, but is anyone moving in this year interested in swapping rooms? Ive been allocated an inward facing room in Cripps but really, really woukd like an outward facing one :frown: i will give you money on top, aha

If it's the view you're worried about, a lot of the outward facing views are pretty dire, especially on first floor. My friend's first floor EE room had a view of the fitzpat roof.

Can someone persuade me to apply here? It's a toss-up between Queen's and Christ's for me at the moment. I like the fact that both colleges are not right in the middle of town, are both medium-ish size and that both take a good number for my subject (medicine). Is there anything I should know that might sway my decision? Thanks!

I guess what I meant was that it's set-back in a way e.g. King's isn't

Okay, that makes sense  I don't know anything about Queens, but FYI I hear that Christ's has a good rep for medicine

Queens' gives you all 3 years accommodation onsite. Quite a lot with en suite.

Ah, thanks!
I'm thinking for applying for Medicine at Queens' or Pembroke, anyone got any info about Queens' that might sway me? also, out of interest, what is the social aspect of queens' like, it being a bigger college? from what ive heard food & accommodation seem pretty good, though 1st years tend to get the worst rooms? also are there any travel grants?? haha
Hey, I've applied to Queens' linguistics 2016 entry, are there any Queens' linguists in this thread? And what unique clubs and societies does Queens' have?

What about your combined maths+further, plus why aren't you continuing further?. Didn't apply as I felt that my UMS was too low - 92.4% average, Maths - 96%, Further - 92% so combined 94%. Other subjects where above 90, and didn't achieve below 90 in any maths, and above 80 in all papers for all subjects.

Didn't do fm last year- and was too late to change my choices until I figured out I wanted to apply for econ- I am only doing fm AS this year. Your ums definitely isn't too low, u should've applied
