Hi, I know this thread hasn't been posted on in a few years but I hope no-one minds if I bring it back up again. I have an offer to study for an MPhil at Queens' and I'm really happy. I have a couple of things I wanted to ask about college life as a postgraduate. I know that the experience is different than it is for undergraduates: for example, teaching for MPhil degrees doesn't take place within the college itself. But I also wondered about other areas of college life. Which things tend to take place in the original site of the college, and which on the other side of the river in the more modern buildings? For example, I have read that there are a few special dinners that take place in the Old Hall, but that most formals are in the Cripps Hall on the modern site (although I've heard the meals are high quality at Queens wherever they take place). Thanks for any guidance on this.
