Manchester or SOAS

I got two offers from the aforementioned universities. The course at SOAS is a MA in Environment, politics and development and Manchester is a MSc International Development: Environment, Climate Change and Development.

I would just like to get an opinion on :
How I will be assessed at the universities and what to expect?
What is the student life like?

See course pages op
Also as a UoM student I can vouch for the vibrant community in Manchester
Probably the best crowd outside of London

As for SOAS you'll be part of the Unibeeisty of London consortium which is over 100k students - there are intercollegiate halls etc and you can also access many buildings (especially libraries) of other UoL constituents
