Gender Bias; Issues & Debates evaluation question

Why should psychologists avoid studying possible gender differences?
I'm not sure what to say for this (I do AQA Psychology).

Gender bias should be avoided due to the following reasons:

Generalizability is lowered- T
he cognitions/thinking/biological processing of a certain gender may not be applicable to the other gender. For example, in a study by Canli et Al, only females were chosen as they were more likely to react and report emotional responses. This causes a decrease in generalizability because men are not as responsive and may react more calmly. This can render the study invalid, or reduce its applicability.

Applicability is lowered:
You may not be able to apply the findings to the opposite gender due to individual differences (as mentioned above) between the genders.

Bias of any form means the research is not deep enough and this causes an overall effect of low validity.
