Anyone starting uni age 20

I am a 2001 baby and I had to take three years course in college because I failed my maths and English I’m starting uni in September to study law . I am curious if anyone my age is starting uni. Everyone else I know are starting uni age 18 or 19 i feel weird about starting uni age 20

Im taking 2 years out since leaving sixth form, so ill be 20 when I start too ! I don't think it'll be a big deal personally as there's many people at uni who all start at different ages . My friend was telling me how a lot of her flat mates are all over 20 and have just started. Hope you enjoy your time there and congrats on getting in :smile:

I'll be 21 if I start this year. It's okay. I feel absolute no shame for being late to uni and I don't feel like my age will affect anything. It'll be alright.

I'm still waiting for my Extra offer, but if I get in I'll be starting uni at 21.
Ive been to uni before and there were a few people in their early/mid 20s in our friend group so you'll be fine!
Many moons ago, I started uni at 20.

I stayed an extra year in college, and then I worked for a year. THEN I started uni (3 months before turning 21).

It was fine.
I started my Law degree in September 2015 aged 19 years 11 months, literally turned 20 1 month into the first year, it was perfectly fine :smile: I don't look my age either so it dosen't even show, and even if you look older then no one really cares anyway

Hello,

Do not worry! Not everyone that starts uni is 18 or 19. There are even more later starters this year since many students did not want to start university in the midst of coronavirus. You will find plenty of people your own age but regardless, you will be going through the same thing as everyone in your surroundings so your age will become a minor detail!

Yes maybe i will ne starting uni at the age 20 not 19 or i will just drop out of high school.
