Fish and chip shop potato peeler and chipper

Hi guys, my local chip shop recently advertised a job vacancy on facebook for a potato peeler and chipper for a few hours every day, so I rung them up and they said I should come in a few days.

I must add that this is the first time I have ever tried to get a job and I'm quite nervous, will there be an inteview? Or will they just show me how to work the machines for peeling and chipping?

If there is an inteview, what do you think the questions would be? Do any of you have any experience working in a chippy? Whats the pay like?

Thanks for reading my ramble, this is my first post on here!

I would imagine it would be for an interview. They'll probably ask you about your experience, knowledge of food hygiene and safety measures (i.e. in a professional catering context) and if you've done anything similar to that job before I guess. If you are successful (or if they just take you on directly) then they should provide training to use any equipment appropriately and safely, as well as to understand the importance of food preparation hygiene and safety.
