It's different for different people.

As MSB said, it depends on you.

I don't know what is best for me, actually :dontknow:

Whenever you feel most awake and alert so it will bloody well sink in.

Reply 4

Depends on the person.

I wouldn't be able to revise early in the morning because I need that time to wake myself up properly! I revise mostly in the late afternoon and evenings.

Morning revision never works for me.. it takes twice as long because I end up reading sentences again and again cos my brain is never awake. Some people are the complete opposite. Late night revising + coffee binging has done well for me so far

Reply 6

Whenever your calm and feel your ready to revise? For me its usually right after dinner

Reply 7

Late at night when my house is nice and quiet - any other time, it just doesn't happen.

Reply 8

Whenever is best for you.

Before your exam.

In a mad panic the night before each exam.

Seriously.......I maintain that the pressure forces you to remember it...

Reply 11

I feel that I revise better when I'm calm, not stressed about anything... and actually feel like I'm motivated to work. When I'm in that state I can remember a lot :yep:

After your exam.

I tend to use my Sundays (all day) for revision. But I know that I do need to do more than just Sundays.

Reply 13

The night before the exam.

10pm-2am.

Reply 16

Late at night I want to chill maybe watch TV or a movie. In the morning I'm tired and don't feel like doing anything.

The best time for me to work is between 1PM until 10PM. Although it varies for other people

an hour before the exam.

I'm generally an evening person - I don't do well at morning stuff and certainly mid-afternoon is a dead time for me.

However, for revision, if I can drag myself out of bed then it's actually best first thing in the morning. Natural daylight, calm, a feeling of achievement before you even start (I got up to revise so I must be dedicated!), and the opportunity to get in a good few hours before the mid-afternoon slump (2.30-5pm for me is just not even worth bothering). Also, you don't then get into a whacked-out routine and kill yourself getting up for morning exams.
