Did anyone apply for the DPhil in experimental psychology? Did anyone receive the interview invitation?

Please is there any one that knows any applicant of MSc Global Health Science and Epidemiology.
Please I want to know if they have started sending interview invite. I have not received any mail plus my upload button has not disappeared. Thanks in advance.

Also please must one be invited for interview by Oxford for a course that require interview before one can be admitted?

Just been accepted for the MPhil in Linguistics, Philology, and Phonetics! I ended up emailing to check when results would be released and they told me my outcome (no official offer letter yet, still have an upload button). Super excited for what's ahead! :woo:

If you’re worried send the department an email, if a decision has been made they might be able to let you know.

May I ask what the deal with the upload button is? I logged in to my applicant portal but I don't see any such button. Where would it be?

it is at the 'supporting documents' tab, and there will be 'upload' button if the decision were not made

Hi folks. Is a status change from "ready to be assessed in November deadline" to "ready to be assessed in January deadline" an automatic
"waitlisting?" I'm yet to get any communication from the department but noticed my status changed

It's not so much being waitlisted from my understanding, it's more so that they want to assess your application against the January deadline applicants. So it's not an outright acceptance or rejection, but not quite being waitlisted as this happens once offers and rejections have all been sent out from my experience.

Do you think if they have done interviewing people?

It is not exactly like waitlisting but pretty close.
Someone told me that, if the date for assessment changes, it means you are neither accepted yet nor rejected yet. It means they can not decide yet. Instead, your applications will be considered again along with those who submit their application in the next deadline which is supposed to be the final deadline. They do give rejection to some people but you are not one of them YET. At this stage, you still have some chance of getting your offer.

I also haven’t heard anything. I think they send interview invites and rejections to everyone at once, so I think they’re running late.

Hello All! I have applied for the DPhil in the History of Art program. I have not heard anything, but then again, the deadline was just on January 7th so I don't expect to hear anything about a decision for a while yet. However, if anyone out there is familiar with the History of Art DPhil program (which is unlikely given that it is a very small doctoral program), do you know if they interview candidates? On the website it only says that they MAY interview. Any thoughts on this would be much appreciated.

I applied for MRES in experimental psychology, which should have about the same timeline as DPhil? I haven't heard anything yet

I’ve applied for Global and Imperial History Masters.

Hey! I think mainly because you have quite a low chance of getting the college you select anyway. It won’t have any impact on your acceptance. But now you mention it, applying to a specific college for your needs could be good, although I just applied to one I found

Interviews are supposed to start next week. It's Friday today and still didnt get a response to my application. Does that mean I am rejected?

You are definitely not rejected unless an email states otherwise. I received my (very polite) rejection email last year.

Do Cambridge do this? Ive applied for PhD studies at quite a few universities but I’ve never experienced such delays, most got back to me within 3-4 weeks.

Cambridge applicant here. Masters. Submitted application in September, interviewed in December. Quite fast, all things considered. Cambridge's PG applicant's page is more vibrant too.
