Barnardo's Selection meeting

I applied online to volunteer at Barnado's and they've invited me to a selection meeting. Does anyone know what it involves and if I should prepare for it? Thanks sm

hi!! it was def more of an intro to the role, they didn’t ask me questions or anything, just showed me around, told me the responsibilities i’d have and what forms i had to sign and that was that really. it was only about 5 minutes really

Yw!! I enjoyed it quite a bit actually though I did make the mistake of picking a 3 hour shift when they only ask for two so it did drag a little lol. Mostly spent time tagging and putting items on the correct hangers, which was quite therapeutic actually. It's very rewarding and you do get to help out a lot despite it not being difficult at all. Although I don't volunteer there anymore, I'm definitely glad I did. Good luck!
