hi there, I'm want to apply for languages at uni and saw the course at Birmingham for modern language and business management but I am not v good at maths, only got 5 at GCSE and didn't fo it for a level. I also dont meet the entry requirements for this course.
do I need to have any maths skills to do this course or does it not matter, like will I start it from beginner level (the business management part)

any help would be appreciated

Usually the entry requirements are there for a reason and indicate the level of knowledge you need to begin the course. It might be helpful to email the admissions team to see how lenient they are with grades. If you're set on this course you may be able to do a foundation year or access course too
