Advice on which pathway to take

I am wanting to enrol onto a veterinary medicine/science degree to become a vet. I don’t know whether to complete a level 3 applied science or a Science Access course before going on to uni. As I do not have the standard entry requirements, I only have my English GCSE at a grade 4, level 2 applied science at Merit/Merit and grade 2 and functional skills level 1 in maths as of yet. I am waiting on my GCSE maths result to come through in august. But in the meantime, I’m unsure of whether to enrol onto a Science Access course or Level 3 applied science course as I’m not certain on which qualification will give me a better chance of enrolling onto the veterinary degree. If anyone can help out or give any information regarding this then it’d be greatly appreciated.
