Resitting my Maths GCSE in University

I just wanted to ask, Im pretty determined to resit my maths GCSE to achieve a higher grade. I have passed my GCSE in the first go with a solid 5, so around a high C.

Is it worth resitting my GCSE- because i really want to!

Also if yes - Any centres or anything, I can search for - for an enquiry?

Any exam centre (all secondary schools or colleges, pus a few specialist places) can accept private candidates, it's just that few do. Look on the relevant exam board website for advice.

You can reset in November (entry deadline end of Sep) or May/June (entry deadline mid Feb).
As above you certainly can resit it in principle - however in practice bear in mind if there are any exam clashes between the GCSE entry and your uni exams those would be irreconcilable. Also the question remains whether it's even worth doing so; employers normally only want to see you've gotten a C/5 or above and don't really care otherwise, and you have that grade already. Unis sometimes have higher requirements but if you're already going to uni (or will be in the autumn) then there seems little reason to retake it. It seems unnecessary and like additional stress for no particular reason.

Why bother? If you’ve got accepted into university then I understand and you should resit. But if you already have why add unnecessary work? After you get accept into university GCSEs are literally useless, and like the other person said above, employers don’t care as long as you got a 5. It’s just a waste of time and effort for something that will have no benefit after you take it
