do virtual internships at law firms like clifford chance and linklaters have value?

I have done few virtual internships from firms such as clifford chance and linklaters and I want to know if these 'virtual internships' do hold any value? I am applying to uni this year and I wanted to get some work exp for the same, obv in this situation that's become really difficult and so any suggestion or advice for the same would be well appreciated!

Yeah totally you can demonstrate your drive for the subject and research skills through it for your statement plus, since everything is online it’s work experience you can add on your cv. It’s not about how everyone could do the virtual internship it’s that you sat down and did this for 6-8 hours and chose to take a step, it will definitely show your passion for law and how seriously you take your goals any certificate courses, research, articles matter.

Not really. It's better than having nothing law related on your CV at all, but it really isn't worth much. If you do decide to do them, make note of how the Forage tells you to reference your completion of them on both LinkedIn and your CV. You aren't allowed to put them down as work experience.

Thank you so much! I am still in high school so I am more concerned about whether or not it would hold value in my personal statement, what is your take on that? I really appreciate this thanks sm!

Yeah that’s why I said it would work well for your personal statement. You can tie them in with podcasts, edex or coursera courses or whatever side project you’re gonna do for your statement

I worked as an on-campus brand ambassador for Clifford Chance, and when giving us advice on their applications, they said they do hold Forage and virtual internships as valuable work experience because they give you really good transferrable skills!
