Chemistry placement in industry/ international placement/ regular chem Msci?

Hi, I am trying to apply to a chemistry course and was wondering about the benefits of doing a placement in industry or a international placement compared to a regular Chemistry Msci.
All guidance will be appreciated

:hello: Hi there!
The benefits of doing the placement is that you get more experience.
Sometimes if you do a placement in a company, the company likes you and offers you a graduate job for when you've finished your degree, that's super nice!

On the other hand it gives you insight to the industry and you can figure out through it that it's something you either want to do or really don't! That's also really useful.
You also get many transferable skills that you can then put on your CV :borat:

With the placement at Unis abroad, this again gives you many transferable skills but also means you get more research experience in a different environment. It might help you figure out an area of research you're super interested in :yy:

Hope this helps,
Cheese
