Hi I am looking for a epq idea for medicine that relates to the mind. Possibly something to do with mental health and how it affects physical well being or maybe the effect of drugs. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can come up with a more specific question?

If you’re interested you could maybe do from a historical perspective, and look at how mental health has been regarded throughout history and how drugs played a part in it (like in early mental institutions) and how it wouldn’t be acceptable in today’s society, and how the modern view of mental health and mental illness differs from the past.

Maybe like a specific type of medicine? Maybe like a different part of the body like specialising in the heart and you could link it to stem cells. Or maybe the brain and how research on the brain has changed throughout the years?
