Welcome to the Tokyo Olympics 2020!

~This thread is all about Artistic, Rhythmic, and Trampoline Gymnastics~

Artistic gymnastics have been contested at every Summer games since the birth of the modern Olympics, while rhythmic gymnastics were added in 1984, and trampoline events in 2000.

Overall, gymnastics consists of 18 events, 14 of which fall under the umbrella of artistic gymnastics, 8 for men and 6 for women. Rhythmic gymnastics features two events for women only, while trampolining features one for men and one for women.

Official statement said this was due to Mental Health but I noticed the BBC coverage unwilling to use that phrase and instead just going for "overall well-being". :hmmm:
