How about foosball?
Many people first discover foosball at Uni.

This video is from the 2019 World Cup. Skip to 6hrs 16 mins for the Women's National Team final and to 9hrs 18mins for the Men's final ...

Basically I want to try getting into a sport in my second year at university, the societies have beginners lessons which sound amazing but idk I just feel a bit embarrassed or awkward about learning as I’ve never been good at a sport before.
Just wondering if anybody else has gotten into a sport recently as a beginner and how they got the confidence

Beginners sessions are a great idea - everyone’s new so everyone’s a bit rubbish, it’s a great way to have a laugh and meet new people, and if you like the sport then that’s a bonus!
