Konichiwa, Daijoubu Minasan!

Welcome everyone to TSRs Opening ceremony thread for the 2020 Olympics.

As we all know, COVID-19 has taken the world by storm and Japan is still in a state of emergency, but much like the spirit of humanity, the olympic games goes on in the face of uncertainty.

I will be running live commentary on the opening ceremony and will be joined by fellow TSRians throughout the ceremony to give their take on things.

Feel free to comment and take part in the festivities. As a friendly reminder, keep it clean / no discrimination / hate on here.
