Deferral for offer holders, Exeter offering to pay?

I was told that Exeter is offering A100 offer holders £10k and a free accommodation for the first year if they agree to defer to 2022.
Is it true and do other Med schools doing the same?
Sounds to good to be true, to be honest...

It's just Exeter and really something to consider.

Somebody posted their letter from Exeter on here verbatim a week or so ago, before the media got hold onf it. It is true and shows the pressure med schools are under not to go over the Government numbers cap.
Nowhere else is doing this, that I know of, currently, but it is not unusual for unis to offer inducements to defer, they are just not usually this blanket and this generous
