Does National 5 grades matter in your UCAS application for universities like Oxford or Cambridge? Do they look at them?

Blunt answer is yes, they do look at them.

However they’ll probably consider your Highers to be of much more value, as well as your predicted grades for Advanced Highers. The bottom line is, if you’ve not done as well in your Nat 5’s as you’d have liked, it’s not the end of the world. I’d imagine it would lower your chances of getting accepted to these super prestigious universities but I’m no expert on the matter.
