I am 18 and I don't have an NI number yet. I applied and sent my passport photocopy but it has now expired. Will I need to send the documents again? And I checked the website now after the covid pandemic and it said to calll a number if you're under 19 and haven't received an NI number.

I’d recommend calling up to see if you can sort something out. I had a similar situation recently, I’m 17 and was never sent my NI number. I phoned in and they were very nice about it, I was able to get it sent to me in under two weeks from then. You might have to re-send your passport etc but I wouldn’t worry about that just yet.
