Agents who “help” with your application either charge or are paid by universities for recruiting students for them. That means that the “free” ones will be trying to force you into the university that pays them the most money not the university that is best for you.

The majority of international applicants do their own application without an agent. If your English is good then ucas and universities explain how everything works.
