Why isn't sulphuric acid battery considered as a solution to climate changeWatch
And the reason it’s not really sustainable in the way wind power is is bc it only has a minimal effect. Meaning there is very little difference between you burning the fuel in your car and the fuel being burnt in energy stations and the energy being transferred to your car as electricity
The battery we use in our cars. It's a proven technology. I'd imagine it's quite clean since it doesn't emit co2 right? Never heard anyone touting it as a possible solution, even if it's a niche one.
the only batteries capable of supporting BEVs with the required energy densities and cycling rates are lithium ion (such as lithium nickel manganese cobalt or lithium titanite oxide).
Additionally the logistics supply chain & manufacturing of these batteries is far from clean & their are major recyclability issues. Their are also many other sub-issues as well.
