Hi guys, I wasn't able to find an official thread, so I thought I'd make my own. I'm currently in my final year of high school (international student) and am applying King's this fall for entry in 2022. I was hoping to find fellow applicants on TSR, so I thought I'd make a post. It'd be great if you could include the following details in your reply:

Home/International
Course(s) you're applying to
Required grades for your course
Your predicted grades (if you have them up until now)
Why King's?
Other places you're applying to

Thank you so much! All the best to everyone for the admissions' cycle this year.

Hi there! Excited to start this process

International student
English Law w French + German Law (applying to both)
35 IB total with 766 at HL (equivalent to A*AA)
Predicted 40 IB total with 777 at HL
I've been dreaming of King's for literally years - I used to go to London quite often and it's a place where I just feel right at home, plus King's inspires me with its high quality of education and city setting. Plus I love the course structure and the fact that it is still affordable for me as an EU applicant
I'm also applying to QMUL, Glasgow and Newcastle

hello!! so glad you made this thread!

I'm a Home student!
Course(s) you're applying to: Psychology with a professional placement year
Required grades for your course: A*AA
Your predicted grades (if you have them up until now): A*A*A
Why King's?: Their psychology institute is of high ranking & they do a placement year which would be great experience!
Other places you're applying to: not sure yet but UCL & QMUL are on my list too

what about you?

I really hope so! I'm not sure how the situation will be for international students this year, so let's see. I'm not exactly sure what I want to do yet, because I really just wanna explore everything first! I'm really excited about social psychology and the quantitative side of things, though.

How about you?

ooo sounds good!! Yes, I can imagine how difficult it must be for international students in the current climate - but hopefully all goes well
I'd love to do clinical psychology! I do want to explore everything else like you said, its good to keep our options open
