Hi guys,
Just trying to get my head round clearing and had a few questions. What time do clearing lines open on results day, do we have to ring specific clearing phone numbers and is it a first come first served basis for the places?
Thanks so much!

Find the clearing page on the website of the unis you are looking to apply to - there you should be able to find how to apply / what number to call. For example, here is what it looks like for Cardiff: https://www.cardiff.ac.uk/clearing/a...rough-clearing

Results embargo ends at 8:30 so most clearing hotlines will open then. Clearing numbers will be published clearly on their respective uni’s websites. Yes, it is first come, first served, so a good idea to start researching now so you can call them in order of preference on the day.

And although it’s first come first served there’s no way to add a clearing offer on Track until 2pm on results day. So if your college doesn’t issue results until 9am or 10am then you won’t be at a major disadvantage
