The age old question. Are you a cat person or a dog person?

I love both as well but I prefer cats, honestly. I have a cat right now and she's a lot calmer and requires less responsibility than the dogs I've seen. But dogs are so cute and friendly that it's impossible to dislike them imo 🤷*♀️ would love to have a dog of my own as well someday, maybe both a cat and a dog together if they can stand to be around each other...

Lol dachshunds are so cute though 🥺 If you get one be careful though, they're so tiny!! I was at a park once and i almost squashed someone's dachshund because it walked directly under my foot 😭😭

I loved the idea of cats when I was younger, but I'm terrified of cats and dogs and my parents despise cats so I have become a tentative dog person by default Maybe I should stick to rabbits though, I'm only half scared of them haha

To be fair the few dogs I've ever been comfortable around have all been westies, there is definitely something about them that just makes them seem that little bit friendlier!

I wanted to like dogs more than cats because people said that was the "right" opinion...but I couldn't help but love the aesthetic of cats so much more. Their movements are so much more majestic, they have more gorgeous coat patterns, they're smaller, and generally less maintenance since they like to be alone more often than dogs.

I like them both but I would go with dogs although I don't own one.
