Im starting maths, physics and economics A-Levels in September and I’ve been seeing ads everywhere for Uplearn. However on TSR so many people have said Uplearn hires people pretending to be students to leave amazing reviews, and the real reviews taken down. Considering it’s over £1000 for the 2 years, I find this kinda worrying as it is a lot of money and I don’t want to spend that much on a scam. Has anyone used Uplearn for A-Levels…did it ACTUALLY guarantee you an A/A*?

Never used it but one A/A* is not worth £2000 really. The only case I could see for using it is if you're at A*AD or something similar and need to boost that D in order to get oxbridge. Otherwise I wouldn't bother spending that much. A private tutor would probably be better value for money too.

Nah, got it free and the videos are just boring. There’s loads of resources on youtube (like examsolutions for maths) and websites (physicsandmathtutor) for your subjects. The guarantee is only if you put the effort in and show actual evidence.

Also they don’t have every exam board on there

I’ve heard from my friends that the economics one is good and helpful. I did the maths one and it helped but I couldn’t just rely on uplearn like they advertise to get my a*, I had to do past papers as well. I ended up getting an a* and I’d give uplearn a lot of credit for it but not all credit.
