You can post as anonymously or as yourself.

What is something that you wish you hadn't done, or do you wish you would've done something but didn't?

Let's share our mistakes so other people don't make them. Let's be supportive to one another here!

That I wasn;t ballsy enough to set my sights on non local universities. While the local one is good, I could have gone to Bristol or somewhere else that is better.

I regret going to University as soon as I turned eighteen. I didn't give myself a chance to sit down and really enjoy life without the presence of assignments, lessons, and writing/typing cramps. Deep down, I just wanted to stay home and keep working so I could have more fun.

That I didn't apply during the January university deadline where most courses had places. I regret it because now I have to apply through clearing where most of the courses don't have places.

I'm getting older now, and mortality is setting in (or it might just be a mid life crisis). I'm trying to put aside any past regrets and start living in a way that makes up for things I might regret later.

Things that were left unfinished - I'm trying to finish them.
I'm trying to spend more time with loved ones.
I'm making my house a more enjoyable place to spend time in.
And so on and so forth.

Which sounds macho or clichéd, but it's true, and S will tell you that it's true if you ask

my mindset doesn't really allow for them, no point being hung up on stuff in that way

I ripped up my biology revision notes three hours before an exam - which decided whether or not I'd be invited for triple Science at GCSEs. I passed with alright grades, but was a few marks short in the biology section of the paper for my teacher to ask me to join triple. My dreams of becoming a vet crushed.

Living entirely on junk food for the past 30 years likely clogging my arteries, wrecking my teeth early, not pushing myself to socialise more and not going to see my gran when she was dying (kept putting it off, then she died).

My thoughts exactly. Learn from your mistakes, but don't dwell on them. No point in ruminating about things that you can't change because they've already happened.

P.S. Still got you on PRSOM after like, what, a year 🤣 EDIT: Literally a year. I last repped you on 27-07-2020 at 22:56
