If that is your main concern for the next two years - how much free time do I get - then maybe A levels are not a great idea.
The whole point about free periods is that is when you do private study - not just lark about in the Common Room.

Ask the college? they're the ones that timetable it, but 'generally' you'll be in 3.5 days a week.

Erm, I was asking as some sixth forms waste frees on form time, pshe, etc, but colleges let u go home where u can study…
