So I'm going to start my MA in September but I'm struggling to find somewhere to live, as I'm part time I don't qualify for student accommodation, I've been told I don't qualify for student accommodation cause of how student contracts work and I can't live in a professional house share as I'll only be working part time too

So I'm a little bit stumped as to where I can actually live but I know there's plenty of part time MA students so I must be missing something obvious here so yeah anyone who's been in this situation, what did you do?

Hi Frowlands!

I would suggest talking to the Student Housing department of your university. As with most things at university, you're not going to be the only one in your current situation. Your housing department should be able to put you in contact with private landlords, other students in a similar situation that are looking for housemates, etc.

Hope this helps & best of luck,
