Hi I am a international student and will start my course in this autumn. I am distribute to Chapter Lewisham as my hall of resident. I did some research on the internet and seems like Lewisham is a place with relatively crime rate, but some say that there are some parts which aren’t that dangerous. Does anyone lives there and might be able to share some information?

I want to know too! I have an offer at Chapter Lewisham and I;m an international student at UAL. There are so many mixed opinions on the internet so I'm really confused.

London in general is safe as long as you keep your wits about you. Be street smart, don't get involved with the wrong people and you'll be fine :yep:

Hello! I’m also going to UAL☺️ kind of worried about the surrounding of chapter Lewisham after checking the crime on police.uk(it’s an useful website)
But I already pay the holding fee and it’s almost impossible to change to another hall…

Yea I checked the crime rate too.. when you compare Lewisham to other areas in London, you’ll notice the crime rate is somewhat similar .. so I think it’s just about being careful, not walking alone at night and stuff like that.
