Hi there,

The University of Portsmouth offer two dental hygiene course, dental hygiene and dental therapy as well as just dental hygiene. Dental hygiene at Portsmouth require AAB-ABB Alevels or 128-136 UCAS points, including 40 points from a pure Science subject For A levels which include a separate science practical component, a pass is desirable and may strengthen an application. More details about the dental hygiene course, covering what you'll experience and career opportunities can be found here- https://www.port.ac.uk/study/courses...dental-hygiene. The dental hygiene and dental therapy course require the same entry requirements, more details about this can be found here- https://www.port.ac.uk/study/courses...dental-therapy. Both of these courses are accredited by the General Dental Council (GDC) allowing you to register with the GDC when you complete the course. The GDC continually assess the course to make sure it meets the standard required for accreditation, so you'll know you're getting the most relevant and up-to-date teaching available. Another perk to these courses if that you may be eligible to the NHS Learning Support Fund bursary of at least £5,000 a year, details about eligibility can be found here- https://www.port.ac.uk/study/undergr...g-support-fund

I hope this helps
