Hi, I want to study primary teaching/education at either, middlesex, bedfordshire, roehampton.

Hello freads92

Thank you for considering Middlesex University.
My name is Rebecca, I currently study MA Fine Art at Middlesex and I am a course ambassador at Middlesex University.

We are the number 3 modern university in the UK and the 15th most international university in the world.

One thing I really like about studying at Middlesex University is the equal focus on theory and practical skills. The university employability service is also really helpful for applying to placements and getting part-time jobs with valuable work experience. They have faculty-specific employability advisors that can help edit your cv, cover letters and help practice for job interviews.
See more about this here
https://unihub.mdx.ac.uk/employment

You can also talk to our student ambassador Kasha that currently studies PGCE Primary Education with QTS, here https://www.mdx.ac.uk/student-life/chat-with-students

Good luck with your applications.

Rebecca

Hi there Liam,

It's great to hear that you are considering your options and university choices already! This will put you in a great place for your upcoming year of A Levels and applying on UCAS.

I just wanted to forward you onto a few useful sources of information here at York:
- Student blogs for Theater, Film, TV and Interactive Media
- In conversation with Film and TV production
- Film and TV production video by TFTI

Please let me know if you have anymore questions about the course or life at York. I really loved my time here and even decided to stay on for my postgraduate degree!

Many thanks,

Laura
Graduate Ambassador

Thanks so much! All added

Hey, everyone! I wish to study Natural Sciences / Environmental Sciences at University, for the 2022 start.

I'm going to be applying for:
Natural Sciences at Cambridge University (A*A*A)
Natural Sciences at University College London (UCL) (A*AA)
Ecology and Environmental Biology at Imperial College London (AAA)
Geography and Environmental Science at King's College London (AAB)
Environmental Science at Queen Mary College London (ABB)

You can tell I wish to stay close to home and travel to and from uni (unless I actually get into Cambridge, then I will get accommodation there). I am predicted A*s in A Level Chemistry and Biology, but A Level Maths is proving very difficult and I'm not sure whether I will get an A. This is why I'm applying for a wide range of grade offers in case everything flops. I also did EPQ which I got an A* in, but the Uni's don't look too much into that as a grade.

Due to where I live and the school I go to, I'm also available for contextual offers to all five uni's but I'm going to try my best to get my top 2 (Cambridge and UCL) for I really want to do Natural Sciences, and don't want to travel out of home territory. (I live close to Cambridge and it isn't far from London on a train, so its easy to travel between the two)

As said previously, I am currently taking A Level Biology, Chemistry and Maths where I am predicted A*A* and maybe A or B, respectively. When I go back to Year 13, our end of September/start of October mocks will solidify the predicted grades. I am currently on an A for Chemistry, B for Biology and C for Maths. I believe that due to my GCSE results (Grade 9s in both Bio and Chem), I know that I have the work ethic and ability to learn the content needed to get A*s in both subjects. As said already, Maths is what I'm struggling with but I'm going to try really hard to get an A.

What course are you applying for
Natural Sciences !

What other universities are you thinking of
A few. Notts, UCL and Lancaster are my favourites. Notts is definitely my top.

A level / IB / Higher / BTEC / etc predicted grades
No idea yet but I do A levels in Biology Chemistry Physics and Maths.

GCSE grades:
Maths, Triple Science, Religious Studies = 9

English Literature and Language, Geography = 8

French = 5

Hi everyone, I'm Katy!

I'm applying for Optometry at Plymouth, Cardiff, UWE Bristol and Hertfordshire. I'm also considering Orthoptics and Sheffield.

My predicted grades are A, A, A/A* in History, Chemistry, and Biology. I'm hoping for an A or A* in the EPQ but who knows :s-smilie:

My GCSE grades are 9 in art, 9 in Bio, 8 in Chem, 9 in English, 9 in French, 8 in Geology, 9 in History, 7 in Maths, 8 in Physics.

Hopefully I'll find some people who also want to study Optometry!
